Cannoli Dip comes together in 5 minutes with just 5 ingredients. It’s super easy to halve the recipe for a small group, or double it for a large party.

A bowl of cannoli dip on a platter with waffle pieces, graham crackers and strawberries.

This Recipe For Cannoli Dip Is Perfect For Your Sweet Tooth!

A perfect cannoli is one of my favorite desserts, and also one of the most hard-to-find. It’s not exactly easy finding a great cannoli in the Detroit area. So unless I’m boarding a flight to Boston, it’s a dessert that lives largely in my dreams.

Sure, I could make them at home. But, making them from scratch is pretty labor intensive and not something I usually have time for.

So, I created this Cannoli Dip recipe as a simple way to enjoy some of the *flavors* of cannoli with minimal effort.

The mascarpone, ricotta and lightly sweet vanilla flavor are all there. The crunchy mini chocolate chips are bountiful (and, you can add chopped pistachios if you want). Truly, it’s like 98% as satisfying as a cannoli, and well, that’s good enough for me!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe For Cannoli Dip

  • A chance to have fun with all kinds of cookies, crackers and fruits for dipping. Go to the store and let your imagination run wild.
  • Enjoy some of the classic flavors and creamy texture of cannoli without the hassle of making and filling the shells.
  • Very easy to adapt to whatever size you need. Halve the recipe to feed a small group of 2 or 3, or double or triple it for a big party.

Easy Chocolate Mousse is so simple to make at home that you may never order it at a restaurant again. Make with pantry staples; no eggs required!

Two small glass dishes filled with easy chocolate mousse, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Easy Chocolate Mousse For Any Skill Level

Chocolate mousse is the poster child for “feels fancy, couldn’t be easier to make.” It’s funny that restaurants get away with charging $15 (or more!) for this dessert. Once I show you how easy it is to make at home, you may never order it at a restaurant again.

I did a ton of research and tested multiple different ways to make chocolate mousse (eggs? no eggs? whip the cream and fold it in?) before settling on this one as the winner in the easiest + most delicious equation.

Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or just beginning to experiment in the kitchen, this recipe is perfect for all skill levels. It’s great for Valentine’s Day or just any day where you want a chocolate treat.

Why You Will Love This Best Chocolate Mousse Recipe

  • It uses pantry staples you likely already have. You might only need to buy the cream, if you don’t keep it on hand.
  • No eggs required! Unlike many traditional recipes, this one skips the eggs without sacrificing flavor or texture.
  • A versatile recipe to keep in your back pocket. Serve it in elegant cups, layer it into trifles or use it as a filling for a cake.

Easy Caramel Recipe

As a seasoned food blogger, I understand the skepticism that can arise with unconventional cooking methods. Making caramel on the stove is a tried-and-true process but will making it in the microwave really give you the same rich, deep flavor and silky smooth texture?

I’m happy to report that after carefully testing this microwave caramel recipe, it is almost impossible to tell the finished product apart from sauce made in a pan on the stove top.

So, come along as we use your microwave’s rapid and even heating capabilities to turn the process of caramel-making into something fast and achievable.

Why You’ll Love This Homemade Caramel Recipe

  • You don’t need a candy thermometer or any other special equipment. Just a microwave and a few basic kitchen tools!
  • No “special” ingredients like sweetened condensed milk or light corn syrup. Just basic stuff you probably already have on hand.
  • Ready in just a few minutes with minimal effort, thanks to microwave magic!

Elevate your holiday dessert game with easy Cranberry Clafoutis made in a blender. A touch of decadent chocolate balances the tart cranberries in the best way.

A clafoutis recipe being served on small plates.

Decadent Cranberry Clafoutis

Clafoutis is a classic French dessert that I had never heard of until I went to culinary school. The first time I tasted it, I fell in love.

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting out, it’s a pretty ideal dessert, especially for the holiday season. It’s super sophisticated and has a fancy French name, but we’re making it in the blender.

What is Clafoutis?

Clafoutis (“kla-foo-tee”) is a dessert originating in the Limousin region of France, made by baking fresh fruit (traditionally cherries, but we’re using cranberries today!) in a simple batter that is similar to a pancake batter.

It’s kind of a cross between a flan and a Dutch baby, if you’re familiar with those. When the batter is cooked, it has a soft, slightly eggy, and creamy custardy texture that is the perfect pairing with the tart fruit.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe For Clafoutis

  • If you’re looking for a dessert that looks (and sounds!) fancy but couldn’t be easier to put together, this recipe is for you.
  • You don’t even need to whisk – we’re making it in the blender and there’s minimal prep time.
  • A touch of decadent chocolate will make this seasonal cranberry dessert appeal to even non-cranberry lovers. The sweetness balances the tartness!

This Apple Tart is a stunning fall dessert that combines shortcuts like store-bought pie crust with special touches like pecan butter and homemade caramel sauce.

A slice of apple tart drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with chopped pecans, on a small plate.

Apple Tart Recipe with Pecan Maple Butter

My first class in culinary school was an entry-level pastry class, and it seemed like almost all we did was make fruit tarts. I think because they usually turn out beautiful enough to sell at a pastry shop (which the school did, with all of the student work) but they’re easy enough that somebody in an entry-level class can make them with relative ease.

This apple tart recipe is adapted from one of my culinary school textbooks. It takes techniques I learned in school, like beautifully arranging apples and using a simple glaze to lock in moisture, combined with some shortcuts like store-bought pie crust and caramel sauce you make in the microwave, to create a stunning dessert that will get rave reviews.

Why You’ll Love This Caramel Apple Tart Recipe

  • Combining seasonal flavors like apples, pecans and maple syrup, it’s the ideal dessert for fall gatherings or Thanksgiving.
  • The finishing product is so stunning that you’ll want to snap a photo, but arranging the apples this way is actually super simple. A novice home cook can make this!
  • While a store-bought pie crust saves time, the easy homemade pecan butter adds a special touch, so it’s a nice balance of semi-homemade.

No-bake, make-ahead Halloween Dirt Cups are a creepy dessert that kids and adults alike will love. This super simple treat is layered with pudding, cookies and candy.

Halloween dirt cups made with layers of chocolate and orange colored pudding, crushed cookies and gummy worms. Three cups are arranged on a wooden cutting board and topped with candy pumpkins.

Give ‘Em Pumpkin to Talk About With These Halloween Pudding Cups!

For many of us, dirt pudding brings on the childhood nostalgia. I didn’t have it at home, but I do remember it being offered as a birthday treat at school and parties.

If you’ve never had it, it’s layers of pudding (usually chocolate) and crushed up Oreo cookies. These ingredients provide the “dirt,” and then you can’t forget the gummy worms crawling out of the dirt!

I’ve spook-ified this classic dessert even more for these Halloween dirt cups.

Why You’ll Love These Halloween Dirt Cups

  • No bake and make-ahead!
  • Can be made in disposable clear plastic cups to take to Halloween parties.
  • Let your imagination run wild with the decorations. Keep it really cute or go super creepy.

The gooey, sticky texture and rich, sweet flavor of these Halloween Rice Krispie Treats will make them a standout addition at your spooky celebration.

These Monster Rice Krispie Treats are Perfect for Your Next Halloween Party!

When it comes to creating the Halloween food I’ve come to be known for, my goal is always to make things that TASTE as good as they look.

This seems obvious, but it’s not always the case with themed food recipes you’ll find online. A lot of them are designed to LOOK really cute (or creepy), but the flavor was clearly an afterthought.

What sets this Halloween Rice Krispie Treats recipe apart is my attention to FLAVOR detail, down to a few grains of salt. Yes, a pinch of salt balances the sweetness of the marshmallows and creates a more nuanced flavor.

The taste and texture of these adorable treats will make them a standout addition to your spooky celebration.

Why You’ll Love These Halloween Rice Crispy Treats

  • They’re easy enough to make that it’s no sweat getting the kids involved for some Halloween fun in the kitchen. They’ll love creating their own Frankenstein faces. No piping bag needed!
  • Rice Krispie treats are great for making ahead of time, so you can prepare them the day before a Halloween party and know that they’ll be ready to go.
  • Adding a pinch of salt to the mixture balances the sweetness and creates an even better tasting RKT!

No Knead Focaccia Bread is absolutely foolproof, even for those new to bread baking. It turns out super crispy on the outside and deliciously soft and pillowy on the inside, with olive oil infusing every bite.

A loaf of focaccia bread cut into square pieces on a wooden cutting board and small plate.

What is Focaccia?

Focaccia is an Italian bread with a soft, spongy texture, sometimes topped with herbs or other savory ingredients. It’s similar to pizza dough, but with a more pillowy texture.

Its defining feature is the dimpled surface that is created by poking holes in the dough before baking. The dimples allow olive oil to pool, giving the bread it’s characteristic rich flavor golden brown crust.

Why You’ll Love This No Knead Focaccia

  • It will spoil your dinner, in the best way. My family calls fresh from the oven focaccia “snack bread,” because we immediately eat half of it standing around the kitchen before dinner is even served.
  • With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up an impressive pan of bread that can be used as a side dish or for sandwiches.
  • The no-knead technique makes this perfect for beginners. It’s foolproof, even for those new to bread baking.

Halloween Cupcakes don’t have to be hard! Grab a box mix and a disposable piping bag, and you’re well on your way to these spooky and delicious zombie brain cupcakes.

Halloween cupcakes piped with frosting to look like bloody zombie brains, on a white platter.

Zombie Halloween Cupcakes are Perfect for Spooky Season!

While most of my Halloween desserts err on the side of cute, not creepy, the holiday IS all about being at least a little frightened, right?

These easy Halloween cupcakes are just the right amount of ick, and definitely the best amount of yum. While they look admittedly kind of gross, once the first party-goer tries one, they’ll spread the word to everybody else about how tasty they are.

Because at their core, these are simply strawberry cupcakes topped with buttercream and drizzled with strawberry syrup.

So preheat your oven, we’ve got brain cupcakes to make!

Why You Will Love These Easy Halloween Cupcakes

  • Because, well, they’re easy! We’re using boxed cake mix, store-bought strawberry syrup for the “blood,” and the piping is a lot easier than it looks, trust me.
  • They’re kind of spooky, but the strawberry flavor will be enticing to both kids and adults.
  • Short list of ingredients!
